Fengari Consulting is led by Selina Mullenax — event strategist, sales coach, and speaker named to Event Industry’s 2026 Women to Watch.
The short version
Selina has spent fifteen-plus years inside the meetings and events industry — in sales, in production, on stages, and behind the scenes of events most people never see come together. Two degrees, a master’s, and a wall of industry certifications. A network built over more than a decade, and the experience to know exactly who belongs at the table.
Fengari is what happens when all of that becomes available to clients on the outside.
How Fengari got here
Selina didn’t set out to build a consultancy. She built a career first — selling for event companies, producing for clients, learning the industry’s wiring from the inside. The consulting work started informally: vendors and friends in the industry asking her how she did what she did, how she stood out, how she closed.
Some of those conversations turned into events. A solo planner needed senior backup. A corporate client without an internal events team needed someone to run an entire program. Selina did all of it, often as the single point of contact handling vendors, sourcing, and execution — billing the client one invoice instead of eight.
Fengari Consulting is the version of that work that’s intentional. Two services that both come naturally to her: full-service event design and 1:1 coaching for the industry she knows by heart. Speaking is how the industry tends to meet her first.

Why Fengari
Fengari means moon.
The name isn’t a coincidence. Selina’s own name traces back to Selene — the Greek goddess who drove a glowing chariot across the night sky. Put the two together and the idea is simple: steady light when everything else has gone dark.

- A keynote needs ten minutes cut with the room already seated.
- A sales team can’t find the door into an account they’ve circled for months.
That’s when Fengari shows up.
